“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”
~ Luke 2:11

Beloved Ones,

As Christmas draws near, what an amazing truth we as Christians proclaim—that God became man and dwelt among us! He identifies with what we are going through.

The Incarnation reminds us that our God loves us so much that He sent His Son to live among us and show us what perfect love is. Our work in India is motivated by this love—to show the people of India that God loves them. IEM’s grocery kit program continues to aid people impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic in South India. Enclosed are a few photos and stories.

The other night, the passage of Matthew 25:34-40 came to me. Jesus showed us how to demonstrate our love for Him:

Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.  For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me. I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’  Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink?  And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you?  And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’  And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’

When I read this passage, I am reminded of you dear ones giving to the work of India Evangelical Mission, for the sake of our Lord Jesus Christ. Your prayers and faithful support are clothing the naked, feeding the hungry, and rescuing souls for Christ and His kingdom. May the Lord continue to bless you and encourage you as you follow Him.

May you have a blessed Christmas and New Year.

We love you very much!
