Dear Friends,
The Christmas season is filled with joyous activities and celebrations, and at these moments we reflect on the powerful message that Christ came as a child and that it is through Him that the world can find peace. As news of conflicts around the world arise, we look to the Lord for the peace that only He can bring.
Last January, IEM welcomed new Christian workers in the state of Uttar Pradesh. We are pleased to be receiving positive reports from these pastors in this northern state of India. The Lord has blessed their local churches, and the congregations are growing.
Sunday school programs are an important part of ministry, as they give us the opportunity to reach the children who attend, as well as their families. Please pray for these dedicated pastors as they organize Christmas programs to share the good news of the birth of Jesus.
God willing, I will be in India at the beginning of the new year with my sister Mishal, her husband Len, and son Luke. We will also be joined by one of our IEM board members, Doug Smith, and his daughter. We will be visiting IEM ministry centers in Mumbai and Kerala. In Kerala, we will be participating in the annual Christian Workers’ Conference. We look forward to meeting with many Christian evangelists and encouraging them to continue to share the good news of the Gospel in India.
