This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an
atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us,
We also ought to love one another. 1 John 4: 10-11

Dear Friends,

As Christians, we are reminded that love is not merely a feeling, it is a profound gift that flows from the heart of God, who demonstrated His love by sending His Son to bear our sins. This act of love is our model, urging us to extend that same love to those around us. During my recent trip to India, IEM had the privilege of participating in food kit distributions for the poor and needy. As we handed out the kits, we shared with the recipients that these gifts were given as a reflection of God’s love.

In last month’s prayer letter, we highlighted the urgent need to improve the water supply at the IEM school in Laxmipur, Odisha. This elementary school serves hundreds of children, including some from very poor families.  We are grateful to share that, thanks to the generous response of our dedicated supporters, we will be able to initiate this vital water project this month. We are excited about the opportunity to enhance and develop this school in the remote hills of Odisha. We will continue to update you on the progress.

In March and April, we look forward to seeing many of you at our annual Fellowship Gatherings in the Pacific Northwest and Ohio.  We will be sharing music, as well as photo and video updates from India.  We warmly invite you to join us at one of these special events, and hear what God is accomplishing in India.

It is a privilege to work with each of you as we endeavor to show God’s love to the people of India.  May God continue to bless you and keep you.

In His Service,

Dayan Mathai
