“Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet My mercy shall not depart from you.”
Isaiah 54:10
Beloved Ones in Christ,
Even as the world is going through great turmoil, the Lord tells His people to be still and know that He is God. We rejoice in the fact that we are under His care, and He is in control of everything. We want to please Him and serve Him, as we carry on the Great Commission of our Lord.
At our IEM campus in Kerala, South India, our administrator is planning to restart our Leadership Training program this April. Due to the Covid pandemic and lockdowns, the campus has been virtually dormant for two years, so over the next two months we will be busily cleaning the campus and preparing for the upcoming training session and also the opening of our Bible College in June. We are praying that the Children’s Home will also be able to open in the fall.
Our food kit distribution programs continue in both Kerala state and the northern state of Uttar Pradesh. Each food kit is delivered to a family that has a particular struggle or need. In North India many of the recipients come from a Hindu background. The food kit provides an opportunity to share the love of Jesus with them. The people are invited to learn more by attending small prayer meetings nearby.
As the world collectively holds its breath to see how the current turmoil will end, we can be confident that God’s light will continue to shine through the darkness. We are so glad to partner with you in bringing this light to the world. Please continue praying for my health (G.V.), that I may continue to serve the Lord. We love you all very much and remember you in our daily prayers.
God bless you,
G.V. Mathai and Dayan Mathai
