“Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.”
Beloved Ones in Christ,
The other day, my son Dayan and I had devotions together and read Psalm 127. The verse above has always been one of my favorites, reminding me that everything is the Lord’s, including IEM. We commit everything to Him as we continue to build the ministry in India, and we remember that God is sovereign, and He is in control of all things.
I thank the Lord that Dayan had a safe and productive trip to India in June. Thank you for your prayers. Dayan was able to oversee the launch of a new school year at the Bible College. We are encouraged that our enrollment is increased from last year, with several states represented for the first time on our campus. The students are happy and look forward to the school year ahead. We have two new faculty members this year—one to teach English and a class on worship, and the other is teaching a course on discipleship. Please pray for these new students and the entire faculty as they work together.
We have begun planning for an all-India Christian Workers’ Conference to be held in Kerala in January of 2024. We will invite all IEM evangelists and other Christian workers to our campus for a time of training, fellowship, and inspiration. We have designated regional leaders to help organize the event. Please pray that it will be a catalyst for new ministries in India.
Thank you for your continued support of IEM, which has always functioned as a faith mission. Your faithful support is what allows the work to continue for all these years, and we know if the Lord is at the center of our efforts, our labor is not in vain. I love you all and pray for you!
Yours in His Service,
G.V. Mathai and Dayan Mathai
